Christopher C. Garitee, Esq. is the Senior Litigation Attorney for Cabanillas & Associates.  He was admitted to the New York State bar in 2014, to the Southern District of New York in 2015, and the Eastern District of New York in 2020.  Mr. Garitee handles a wide range of matters including real estate litigation/partition actions, contract litigation, commercial litigation, federal litigation, foreclosure defense, and appeals. Mr. Garitee also has substantial experience in personal injury cases. He is directly responsible for multiple high value judgments obtained by our clients in both State and Federal Court!

Mr. Garitee earned his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York, College at Cortland, cum laude, in Political Science and earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA, completing his degree in Nice, France.  

Mr. Garitee is currently a member of the Westchester County Bar Association’s COVID-19 Landlord Tenant Council and previously served as a Member of the Village of Tuckahoe Zoning Board of Appeals. He is the founder and president of the Westchester County Chapter of the Republican National Lawyers Association, ran for Westchester County Legislator in 2019, and is also a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Order of the Sons of Italy, and the Westchester County Bar Association. 

Separate from his responsibilities as an attorney and his involvement in the community, Mr. Garitee is an athlete who travels the country running Spartan Races and similar obstacle course races.
